About Joel Schut’s Violin

Joel Schut is a violinist, conductor, and educator. He holds degrees in Orchestral Conducting from the University of Colorado-Boulder and Violin Performance and Music Education from the University of Michigan where he was awarded the Albert A. Stanley Medal, the school’s highest honor. 

He currently serves as director of the acclaimed Okemos High School Orchestra Program and performs with the Flint and Lansing Symphony Orchestras.
