After a lifelong career in primary education, Florine decided to pursue her love for art. Her creativity has fuelled her joy in teaching, bringing happiness to hundreds of children in her community. After her retirement, Art Studio Florine bloomed and left many visitors and customers in awe of her work. 

She is mostly self-taught but trained in fine arts at the Dutch Academie voor Fijnschilderkunst. Her methods are based on the works of the “Oude Meesters”. Using a variety of brushes and techniques to match the soul of the object she wishes to embody on canvas.
